A few days ago, I posted about a new campaign that Cornerstone is working on with Windows called the “Me” series, where cool people involved in music, fashion, film, food, and more talk about how they use Windows phones as their mobile office.
Here is the 2nd video in the series featuring Matthew Poley of the Heirloom LA food truck. As a fellow Detroiter, I really want to meet this guy.
Matthew Poley, chef/owner of premier catering company Heirloom-LA, and Windows Phone partnered to launch the first Heirloom-LA food truck: an amazing food experience in a truly mobile setting. This short video profile on Matthew Poley gives a deeper look into how the Windows Phone has helped him bring Heirloom-LA’s “farm to table” quality ingredients and famous lasagna cupcakes directly to customers on the go.
Matthew uses the Microsoft Office mobile apps to update menus, along with Social Media and People Hub apps to let @WPHeirloomLA followers know where the truck is located next.
Windows Phone presents the Me series, a collection of short film essays exploring a day in the life of creative Windows Phone users. With seamless connectivity between contacts and social networks in the People Hub, one touch searching from Bing and the only phone to come with Office Mobile built-in, Windows Phone allows these users to create and connect anywhere, at any time.

RoboCop Speaks to Detroit
RoboCop (Peter Weller) is totally pumped about Detroit’s plan to build a monument to him.
Embarassed to say that I recognized Mr. Weller as Liddy from Dexter before Robocop. Shows my age, I suppose.
