Movember Wrap-Up
After a fantastic month, Movember has come to a close, and overall, I’d say it was a resounding success. I was lucky enough to raise $345 towards men’s prostate/testicular cancer awareness, research, and treatment, and from what I can tell, 2010 was Movember’s biggest year ever (nearly early $60 million has been raised, according to the Movember website).
So, thank you. Thanks to the friends/family members that donated, the people that offered support and encouragement, my boss for not firing me for having such a disgusting thing on my face, my girlfriend for putting up with this thing, and to all my fellow “Mo Bros” for sticking with it.
Unfortunately, I have to wait until Saturday morning to shave, for tomorrow night is the grand “Gala Parte”, where I plan to strut my stuff in the quest for this year’s “Man of Movember 2010”.
